وقد تم تسليم فاردي هذه اللوحة نظرا لتحطيمه
الرقم القياسي في تسجيل الاهداف الذي حققه روند فان نستلروي مهاجم مانشستر يونايتد
السابق .
ويأتي ذلك بعد نجاحه في تحقيق التعادل امام
المان بهدف لهدف على ملعب ريد ديفيلز في نوفمبر الماضي .

The Leicester striker was handed the trophy for breaking Ruud van Nistelrooy's record of the most goals scored in consecutive games.
Vardy broke the record against Van Nistelrooy's former club — Manchester United — by scoring in his 11th consecutive game during his side's 1-1 draw with the Red Devils in November.
